Workshops & Consulting

  • Social Impact Workshops

    Join us online or in person in Houston, Texas:

    These shorter workshops are designed to help you explore a topic related to your venture and build an action plan that you can directly implement in your business, social enterprise, or nonprofit. Topics vary per month but may include things like:

    **Measuring impact: the basics

    **Financing your social venture

    Keep an eye out for more topics and dates!

    Space is limited in these workshops - particularly for those wishing to join in person in the Houston area.

    At check out, you may choose to “Boost” your workshop experience and pre-purchase consulting package giving you access to:

    -1 workshop

    -Access to workshop recording

    -5 hours of individualized consulting for your organization to develop your social change model and/or measure your social impact (developing tools, collecting data, analyzing data, completing reports etc.).

  • Launching Your Social Innovation

    This cohort-style program consists of 6 workshop sessions with add-on individualized consultations services to build your social impact model and its evaluation systems. This program gets you into pilot phase to begin testing your innovation to make your dream a reality.

    This program includes:

    **6 hands-on workshops designed for immediate testing & implementation, potentially obtaining quicker results for your organization.

    -Sessions 1, 2, & 3 (1.5 - 2 hours each session): Setting the stage, preparing to build a social impact model.

    -Sessions 4 & 5 (2 hours each session): Preparing to launch pilots and testing with feedback from your market.

    -Session 6 (2 hours): Evaluating initial feedback, and figuring out where to go from here.

    **5 hours of individualized consulting on your social impact project with Dr. Laursen.

    **Small cohort style workshops allows me to tailor content to each of the innovators present. Having less than 10 organizations provides opportunities to build relationships among fellow social innovators while building a support system so you feel less alone in the startup process.

    **Ease of continued impact measurement after program ends.
